The Knappin Haus
The Knappin Haus is a unique off grid rustic cabin by our seasonal pond.
A gourmet hot BREAKFAST INCLUDED (2 night booking) served at 9am you pick the day! The Knappin Haus is a rustic tranquil cabin for two. It is a space to truly get away from it all. Cozy up next to the heater in the rocking chair and enjoy a good book. A hammock is awaiting you for a nice nap in the yard. In the evening view wildlife from the deck with a glass of wine next to the fire table. Visit in the winter and let the frogs sing you to sleep. This is our newest addition to the ranch come and relax!
Guest access
Enjoy a walk around on the trails and say hello to the animals. Rikki, Hammy and goats wander the property freely, please feel free to meet them! There are items for sale you may have forgotten along your trip in the red shed. We offer bikes to ride and games such as badminton, corn hole and ladder ball in game area (seasonal). Rent crab rings with lesson also available. Explore the walking trails and a seasonal pond to view wildlife. The seasonal camp garden has fresh items to pick as well.
Important Information
Children 12 years or older welcome. Check in times are from 4pm-8pm only. No late check-ins this is to maintain safety and quality of our guests stay. If not checked in by 8pm the gate is locked, and you will forfeit your stay (no refunds). A book located in the Knappin Haus has all the information you need, please read it. Town/beach is only a short 10-minute drive if you want to explore after checking in. Please DO NOT FEED Hammy or Rikki (they are on special diets) however you may give food scraps to the chickens to reduce trash size. We do not offer trash service so what you bring please take with you.
