Glowing Lotus
The Glowing Lotus, nestled in a special part of the forest offers a private off-grid experience.
A gourmet hot BREAKFAST INCLUDED (2 night booking) served at 9am you pick the day! The Glowing Lotus is an elegant bell tent situated on a wood deck complete with a queen bed and a single futon for a possible third guest (bring sleeping bag and pillow for futon). This is an off-grid experience, so the lighting provided is a clever mix of battery and solar that brings the Glowing Lotus to life at night, bring a lantern for more light. Hang out in a hammock and enjoy a nap or listen to the birds in the trees. Sometimes you will hear the lions from the West Coast Safari Game Park 2 miles away.
Guest access
Enjoy a walk around on the trails and say hello to the animals. Rikki, Hammy and goats wander the property freely, please feel free to meet them! There are items for sale you may have forgotten along your trip in the red shed. We offer bikes to ride and games such as badminton, corn hole and ladder ball in game area (seasonal). Rent crab rings with lesson also available. Explore the walking trails and a seasonal pond to view wildlife. The seasonal camp garden has fresh items to pick as well.nal).
Important Information
Children 12 years or older welcome. Check in times are from 4pm-8pm only. No late check-ins this is to maintain safety and quality of our guests stay. If not checked in by 8pm the gate is locked, and you will forfeit your stay (no refunds). A book located in the Glowing Lotus has all the information you need, please read it. Town/beach is only a short 10-minute drive if you want to explore after checking in. Please DO NOT FEED Hammy or Rikki (they are on special diets) however you may give food scraps to the chickens to reduce trash size. We do not offer trash service so what you bring please take with you.
